Project Description
Strategic Construction Management, Inc. provided preconstruction and construction managment services for a new 25,656 square foot recreation facility for the Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center in Mt. Hermon, California. The McAfee Fieldhouse includes a new gymnasium large enough to seat 750 people, basketball and volleyball courts, an indoor climbing wall, an exercise room and expanded game room, as well as meeting rooms for junior and senior high school programs.

Renovation of the meadow included re-surfacing of the entire area for use as a playfield, installation of a jogging path around the fieldhouse and playfield, and new landscaping which includes an enhanced stream and pond. The architectural team strove for a facility that would reflect the unique mountain environment of Mt. Hermon.

Construction began in Spring 2004 and was completed in Summer 2006.
